India China Faceoff Major Reason For Tawang Yangtse Border Dispute ANN

India China Border Clash: The dispute between India and China regarding the border has been going on for a long time. On December 9, after the skirmish between the soldiers of India and China in Tawang Sector of Arunachal Pradesh, the matter has become very hot. Indian soldiers have given a befitting reply to China’s antics and bravely defended the land under India’s jurisdiction by driving out 300-400 Chinese soldiers. Chinese troops had tried to unilaterally change the status quo by encroaching on the LAC in the Yangtse area, but this attempt by China was foiled by the Indian troops.

On Friday (December 9) between India and China, some soldiers of both countries were injured in a skirmish near Yangtse in Tawang on the Line of Actual Control (LAC) in the sensitive area.

The main reason for the war between India and China?

A peak of Yangtse in Tawang sector is at a height of about 17 thousand feet. The Indian Army ‘dominates’ this peak. Due to this, the Indian Army keeps a close watch on every action of China on the other side of LAC. The border-village of China is clearly visible from here on the other side of the Line of Actual Control (LAC). At the same time, China tries unsuccessfully to occupy the area under India’s jurisdiction.

Construction of new road very close to Yangtse

In the month of July this year, China had constructed a new road from the border village very close to Yangtse, that too is clearly visible from here. The PLA of China is trying to remove the Indian Army from this dominating-peak. This is the reason why at around 2 am on December 9, Chinese soldiers tried to remove the Indian soldiers by climbing this peak in the number of 300-400, but the Indian soldiers were already sitting ready and chased away the PLA soldiers from there.

There was an attempt to infiltrate in 2021 as well

Earlier in September 2021, the Chinese Army (PLA) had attempted a similar infiltration here, which was foiled by the Indian Army and some PLA soldiers were taken hostage. However, after the flag meeting, all the Chinese soldiers were released.
